STUDENTS SAY GOODBYE TO HANNAH, (VOLUNTEER FROM U.S.A.)

Hannah came to us in April and offered her help, which was extremely welcome! She came to our school 4 days a week and taught 2nd and 3rd class English as well as tutored smaller groups of students from 4th-7th class who were struggling a little with English, due to lack of prior schooling, absence or lack of confidence.

The students all loved her and her naturally friendly, effervescent nature. She stayed with us until June, when she flew back to the USA to continue her studies. Thank you Hannah for all your kindness and hard work – we will all miss you! Good luck at university from all of us x We hope to see you again on your next visit to Dharamsala.

Saying goodbye to Hannah

LETTERS RECEIVED FROM SPONSORS AT JFK SCHOOL (UK)
It’s always exciting when personal sponsors send letters to our 9th and 10th standard students. We received a lovely parcel from John F. Kennedy school in Hemel Hempstead, UK, full of letters and class photos for 6 of our 9th standard students who left in March. Thank you very much. All our students are studying hard, thanks to you, and enjoying their new schools.
